Well I am coming out of a nice sunny relaxing weekend. We had a really nice visit with my folks and I am happy to report that I do believe my mom has gotten magic loop down. After a few "you are not a very good teacher" comments she ended up getting through the heel and gusset. Hopefully now that she is home she will be able to do it on her own. During all this teaching of socks I was able to finish the cash/merino pair from Joyuna. The colors are gorgeous and they feel wonderful. As I had mentioned earlier they were a bit loose for how I like to wear my socks, so I gave them to mom and her big size 10 feet!
I am happy to report that I listed some new batts on Etsy this morning. It has been really nice being back at the carder creating new colorways. I will continue to add new combos throughout the week. ReplyDeleteOooo! I love how those knit up! Still relatively new at dyeing so the way the variegation will pattern is still a bit of a mystery to me. Hehe. I hope your mom enjoys them!
